Hey guys! Tadashi here and today I'll be talking about the 12th and final episode of Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS which concludes the tournament and their elementary school days.
Maho is back in action as her ankle has miraculously healed. With the game going into overtime, it's only right to play their best players which would be all of the 6th graders.
Maho easily blows by Rena multiple times because Rena is afraid of hurting her again. She is actually worried and it was kinda cute to see. Rena had enough of Maho's trash talking (which was justifiable) began taking her seriously and ended up fouling her resulting in her fouling out.
Rena actually looks cute~ |
She's learning! |
Everything was now in the hands of their ace, Tomoka. She was like a one man army blowing by each of her opponents like it was nothing. She really is in a league of her own and shows us exactly why she's the ace of this girls team.
Can't touch this |
na na na na |
Actually one of my favorite moves |
During a layup from Airi, she was blocked by Ayu which sent the ball flying and all the girls running after it. Maho came up with the ball and threw it down the court to Tomoka with the clock dying down and them being down by 1 point. As soon as she caught the ball, Miyu caught up to her and contested her shot just enough to make Tomoka shoot it late. The ball went in, but the basket didn't count as time had expired. The girls had lost. The other girls showed great sportsmanship at the end of the game.
Such a great shot! |
I can't believe it didn't count :( |
Miyu is one of my favorite girls<3 |
Later on, Tomoka brought Subaru to a place they went to before where there was a good view of the stars. She wanted to tell Subaru that her, and everyone else will catch up and reach him one day. With these touching words, Subaru ending up telling Tomoka to stay by his side which just made me facepalm hard LOL.
*facepalm* Are you asking to go to jail? |
The next day, he was dreaming about Tomo before being woken up. Tomoka had come to show off her new middle school uniform. Later that day, thanks to the efforts of Kazunari, the high school basketball club had been reinstated and he was now the VP.
S3 will be told from Subaru's perspective...in jail |
Chibi Tomoka was sitting at the park when chibi Subaru came and introduced her to basketball (which was totally predictable). The question is, does she remember? He probably doesn't haha.
Chibi Tomoka = *nosebleed* |
And that ends Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS.
Overview
Lolibaskets has been a pretty good season compared to its predecessor. It had a good balance of basketball, fanservice, and plot. The characters were as lovable as ever (with Hina still being a step-away from a heart-attack whenever she goes "Ohhhh") and the actual basketball action this season was a lot more interesting than before. There's also the fanservice of these godly lolis. We got tons of that, and even got some nice fanservice of Aoi<3
The story really progressed as well seeing how they're now in middleschool as oppose to being elementary lolis for the entire series.
There's still material to be covered, but what I'm really hoping for is another season based on them in middleschool. It'd be nice if Miyu also went to the same middleschool and became a teammate to them. She's one of my favorite characters.
Visuals: 7/10
Audio: 7/10
Story: 7.5/10
Characters: 8/10
Enjoyment: 7.5/10
Favorite Character: Aoi<3
Overall: 7.4 lolis out of 10.
Thanks so much guys for following me on this loli adventure and putting up with my reviews.Until next time, fellow lolicons,
-Tadashi
