Review

We've moved onto Masato and his backstory. It's definitely not as heartwrenching like the other heroines, but it was still touching to see. He had become a stronger person so that he wouldn't be made fun of for being weird, but in the end, he was left alone for being too strong and scary. Kyousuke was the first one to challenge him and beat him after an assortment of tricks and punches promising to have tons of fun.

Riki took on the role of (re)recruiting Masato with the help of Rin. His monstrous strength was a little unbelievable especially since he carried a statue with him most of the time but it's not surprising (Tomoyo from Clannad is a good example). What was surprising however, was that Riki fought him punch for punch. He delivered the final blow which was strong enough to knock Masato back to his senses.

The execution itself was great, but I did expect it to be a little more powerful providing more emotions and feels. That's not to say that there wasn't any feels, because there was. I was immediately brought back to when I read the visual novel and even teared up at some parts.

Rin herself is also slowly regaining life in her eyes. She's having more fun and showing glimpses of her past self. Next on the list is Kengo and his story. It'll be interesting to see since Kyousuke played a HUGE role in his past. Can Riki reenact it?
