Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen Episode 2 - Keima in Overdrive Mode! He's Serious Now

Yo guys! Tadashi here and today I'll be talking about the 2nd episode of Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen where Keima begins to take action considering that there is actually a life on the line here.

Keima realizes that this time, it's not a game and Kanon's life is on the line. Haqua tried her best to remove the dagger inside her but in the end, it had no effect. It turns out Kanon has one week to live. The other Goddesses may be able to save her so Keima has to find them in the allotted time. Now this is no easy task.

Keima has to go around and inspect each girl that he had previously conquered and see if they held memories of who he was. This would mean that there is a Goddess inside of them. He narrowed it down to 5 possible girls:

During this whole ordeal, Haqua gets a front seat because Else had to go substitute in for Kanon. I loved this because she definitely deserves this screentime! She is just so kawaii especially when she gets all flustered. The scene where Keima told her she's going to be living with him and then when he saw her in the bathroom...<3 I was surprised Keime stayed so calm in that bathroom scene though.

Keima has to basically 'reconquer' the girls in order to bring out their love since love is what gives these Goddesses powers. One week to basically redo what he did that last two seasons huh? It'll definitely be interesting. I'm also really glad that we got a chance to see everyone else again (well, not everyone like my Nagase-sensei</3) especially Shiori. We also get a nice look at two girls that were skipped but seem to hold importance here:

The scene with Yui was pretty funny considering she played the dominant role and even confessed to Keima on the couch. Safe to say Shiori and Haqua didn't approve xD

The episode ended off with Keima cleverly setting up something with Chihiro. Man, this guy can literally set anything up! Will I be that experienced if I play games all day?

Some other things:

1. Sensei. Who is she? She shows up at the beginning and 'chases' away the Vintage agent? Or did she help her? I always found her a little suspicious and now it's clear she has something to do with these things surrounding Keima. Maybe she was the one who led Else to Keima? Or was the one who led the loose souls into the girls around Keima? I dunno but she definitely has something to do with this.

2. LOL Elsie...

3. I don't think these 'agents' are just going to sit by idly while Keima is trying to revive the Goddesses. What kinds of attacks will they face? It's not like they have the ability to actually fight against these agents...

4. Keima is definitely showing us more of his 'human' side. He hasn't touched his games in awhile and is actually taking this seriously.

Anyways, that's it for this episode. How will Keima fare trying to reconquer these girls' hearts? It'll definitely be interesting.

See you guys next episode!
