More mysteries are brought to light in the fourth episode of Wizrad Barristers. This new case only brought up a new suspicion about our loving and carefree Moyoyoing as well as revealing another new magic that Cecil can use and a short revelation on who is on the bad guys' side, confirming our suspicious.

Right off the bat we're told what the grimoire supposedly is - it's a book that documented the magi's past and everything that happened. Knowing the generic paths of anime when this kind of thing is involved, there's probably some forbidden magic/treasure map or something along those lines inside that book as well.
The case itself wasn't as significant as the previous case, but it shows how weak Cecil really is (mentally). She chose this job, and like Ageha-san said, if she can't handle this reality she should resign right away. Whether the defendant is in the right or wrong, it's their job to defend them as their lawyers. Like Hotaru said, they should give it their all in their defendant's beliefs. Maybe it's because of her age and inexperience, but she should be prepared for that much like Hotaru is. This naivety will surely cost her in the future. Luckily in this case, things managed to work out.
Moyoyoing also catches our eye this episode. As she comes down the ceiling, the other brother, Rei, immediately loses his cool and is struck with fear. Not to mention she came down with a devious face and all it took was for her to squint in a serious tone and her eyes to glow for him to run away. It makes you wonder who she really is. Not too much is given about her character aside from her fun personality but in most cases, one's fun personality is simply a facade. I really hope she isn't playing for the other team :(
Cecil also awakened to another new magic - this time sand magic. Once her beads broke, she managed to instantly use this new magic which didn't surprise too many people. Are the charms actually some kind of seal? Or is it some kind of protection like he said? It seems like once they break, more of her power is unleashed. Her father must have known something about this. Tons of questions arise here.
In the end, as I guessed previously, that other cop, Shizumu, is actually on the bad guys' side. I'm really hoping he isn't playing the double agent but let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if he was.
Next week's episode is titled Six Nine huehuehue~ but seriously, it looks like we'll be getting the usual while slowly shedding more light on the villains and our other fellow benmashis.
See you guys next episode!
