Hataraku Maou-sama! Episode 11 - Finally Some Drama!

Osu! Tadashi here and today I'll be talking about the 11th episode of Hataraku Maou-sama! which gives us a heated argument between Chiho and Suzuno and also Sarue finally takes action.

The episode starts off with Maou receiving a bunch of boxes which he's supposed to sell at a local bazaar. They found plenty of interesting things inside these boxes...

This must be for Chi-chan...
Lucifer always gets mistreated and I find it hilarious! It was even funnier that he planted a tracking device into Emi's bag. If Emi ever finds out, you can kiss your peaceful life goodbye hahaha.

We also got some more details about Suzuno's past. She was an executioner for the Inquisition but she didn't particularly like her job. She said she didn't want to kill people but it was her job and she had no choice. She also learned just how cowardly and embarrassed people are and what they'll do to protect their status.

After plenty of time to think, Suzuno finally confronts Emi and Chi-chan about Maou. They got into a very heated argument over Maou. Chi-chan was trying to explain that Maou isn't a bad person and that he's really kind deep down. Suzuno is saying he must be killed for everything he's done and she tells Chiho that she is going to erase all her memories of everyone and Ente Isla which brings Chi-chan to tears. Emi steps in and says she's fine with the way things are since everyone is happy. For now, she has no intention of killing Maou and that she protects people against others who make her friends cry.

Following the argument, Chi-chan felt bad about what she said to Suzuno but Emi said a very comforting line: "You don't have to be reasonable when you're in love." and I thought this was perfect! Then of course they were suddenly attacked by the guy with the scythe and he's also revealed to be Sarue Mitsuki the SFC "manager". Suzuno also seems to have sided with him. I wonder how long it'll take before she realizes the mistake she's making.

He is a fallen angel and he has the power to nullify Sacred Magic (which is what Emi, a half-angel, uses). She was utterly defeated and Maou had just gotten wind of this and is heading out after them. He rides his trustee Dullahan and a ...broom? That better be a strong ass broom lol.

Onwards! Dullahan!
At the very end of the episode, we see Ashiya in the hospital and we also see cueball Orba waking up. I thought they sent him back to Ente Isla but guess not and according to the preview, he reunites with Lucifer. I'm hoping Lucifer learned his lesson and is only playing Orba but we'll have to wait and see. Also, poor Ashiya...

Anyways, there wasn't too much of the comedy we love but it was still a good episode nonetheless. Maou seems to be in trouble next episode but who is he going to rely on to help? I'm thinking Suzuno once she changes her mind. That or Emi fights Suzuno and Maou takes Sarue.

Well, see you guys next week for Maou-sama!
