Shingeki no Kyojin Episode 4 - It's Finally Time; The Return of the Titans

Sup guys! Tadashi here and today I'll be talking about the 4th episode of Shingeki no Kyojin which brings back the super Titan from 5 years ago and some outstanding scenes.

During the training exercise with Jean and Eren, it was awesome to see some hand-to-hand combat between them. I loved watching Annie totally show those two up. It was a valuable learning experience for them both. Eren even realized the biggest contradiction that no one really thinks about.
She truly is a skilled fighter but is too much of a lone wolf. Just how well would she function during a real mission? The only way I see things changing is if she gains some respect for Eren and his skills since he's most likely to be a leader on a team.

Speaking of respect, Eren really was able to say some strong words. His sweeping kick that he pulled off caught Annie's eye. Hopefully that means she's understood that Eren is taking this seriously.
It was hilarious how quickly he got jealous of Eren because of Mikasa.

"Sasha just ripped a giant fart, sir"

This moment was pure gold and I didn't expect the quiet and serious Mikasa to pull a joke like that. She literally broke the serious mood that just happened. Epic scene hahaha.

Sasha is definitely the comic relief character in this show. The fact that it's a brutal show with gruesome deaths and tons of serious tone makes her valuable in my eyes.

The other speech that Eren gave to basically everyone on how they're letting the past battles be for nothing. I'll admit, it was one of the greater speeches from him so far. He doesn't seem like the same boy who would just talk about killing titans for revenge anymore. He seems like he matured and showed everyone again that he's 110% serious. Being the top 10 in the class and serving the king? Hah! Yeah right. He wants to be right out there on the battlefield. Good thing these words inspired some people.

Okay now on to the serious part. Just as Eren was happy that he'd made it this far and it was finally time for him to do what he had to do, a super Titan literally came down from the sky out of nowhere and I mean literally. It was so sudden it caught everyone off guard.

Everyone was sent flying off the wall but used their equipment quickly to save themselves. Well, all except for one. Sasha quickly without a second though went for the rescue and she did it sooooooo amazingly well. The way they animated the scene was epic and incredibly well done. It really pushed the idea that this is a very serious and dangerous situation.

Next episode will be the beginning of the fight between them and the Titans round 2. This time, Eren will be participating and we'll get to see just how far is resolve can take him. I doubt he'll be able to take it down (at least in his current state) but you never know.
The ending of this episode surpasses everything before in this episode. They brought on tension and the sense of danger and it kept me on the edge of my seat.

And here's some Mikasa eye candy for you guys <3

See you guys next episode!
